It depends on the person that is playing. When I was younger I would put a good 40 hours a week in, but as I matured and grew I played less and less. I personally maybe play 2-5 hours a week now. This is just a personal question.
It would depend on a persons age, but my son is 8 and I allow him to play for 2 hours per day, after school and Im strict with that limit. I find that 2 hours is generous, gives him his fill of competitive fun and still gives him 3 hours to play outside before dinner.......a win win.
