It would not be very difficult since the vehicles are built almost exactly the same, but I would not suggest it as the 3.4L engine is not a very dependable engine and has many mechanical malfunctions. If you want a more powerful engine than the 3.1L, I would recommend going with a 3.8L 3800 Series II, which is cast from the same block as the Chevy 350's just with the last two cylinders removed. All internals are interchangeable with Chevy 350's, Which makes it quite easy to find replacement parts.
