12 x 15 = 180 sq ft
180/1.7 = 105.88 tiles that's assuming the tile is 1.7 sq ft if its 1.7 x 1.7 then
180/2.89 = 62.28 tiles
figure out how many tiles per box then add in 10% waste factor and get the closest box rounding up too many tiles is ok save them in case you break some
How much 16x16 of ceramic tile is required to cover a 170 square foot kitchen floor
without the angle of light source this cannot be determined
The diameter of a circle with a 12-foot circumference is about 3.82 feet. (circumference divided by Pi = diameter).
All plumbing drainage horizontally is 1/8th of an inch per foot.
For simplicity sake, let's assume we have a 10 foot x 10 foot room with an 8 foot ceiling. The floor area is 10 multiplied by 10 to get 100 square feet. To get the volume multiply that by 8 and get 800 cubic feet.
Look at your kitchen floor. Many linoleum floor tiles are 1 square foot in area. One foot on each side. ■

One Yard equals three feet. Thus, four yards equals twelve feet. One foot has twelve inches. If you take the four yards (twelve feet), and add them to three feet, you get fifteen feet. Take the fifteen feet, each one containing twelve inches, and multiply them by twelve. Fifteen times twelve equals 180. Therefore, there are 180 inches in four yards, three feet. 4 (yards) x 3 = 12 (feet) 12+3= 15 (feet) 15 x 12 = 180 (inches)
Twelve Foot Ninja was created in 2008.
The area around the sink would take two rows of four tiles each, so that is 8 tiles which will NOT be needed. The whole floor would take twelve rows of fourteen tiles = 12 x 14 = 168. So, if we take away the 8 tiles which won't be needed we are left with 160 tiles.
100 but get a few extra in case some break.
square feet is best understood (for me) in terms of tiles. one tile is a foot long and a foot wide. If you tile a floor with these tiles and you notice that one side of the floor (lenghtwise) is fifteen tiles long and the other side is fifteen tiles across. this means that the room is 15X15 tiles. since our handydandy tiles are 1X1 (recall one foot by one foot) this means that our floor is actually 15X15 square feet. >> don't forget that Ft. squared is math terminology for ft. X ft. (or 15ft.x 15ft.) The dimensions of a room that is 15ft. sq. would probably be around 4X4ft. that is ittsybittsy
