That depends on who does it and what kind of parts they use.
It also depends on the kind of tune-up. If it's just plugs and wires it will be a lot cheaper than a full tune-up with oxygen sensor and injectors.
Plugs and wires with a compression test shouldn't be much more than about $50, but some mechanics will try to charge more.
Plugs, wires, injectors and oxygen sensors will be considerably more; over $200 and probably closer to $300.
Have vehicle scanned to have codes cleared
It depends on what your vehicle is.
The tube up parts needed for a 1995 Saturan SL 4 cylinder depends with your individual needs.
If it is a 6 cylinder it will cost upwards of $300.00 because you have to remove the intake to get to the spark plugs..
It would depend on the vehicle in question.
they start around $130 for a 4 cylinder and go up from there

Possibly one of the cylinders is misfiring. Try a tune-up and/or check the cylinder compression of all 4 cylinders.
An average tune up ( everybody has something different) for that vehicle should be around $80
Tune-up?
Generally a minor tune up will involve plugs, wires, PCV valve and checking for codes and replacing the fuel filter. A major tune up will also include replacing/reconditioning the injectors. Injectors can only be reconditioned by a specialty shop, and can only be performed with the injectors OUT of the vehicle.
