This is a high energy mix that requires a dedicated owner. However, both breeds are very intelligent so you will find that the dog will be a quick learner and will respond eagerly to a firm yet fair owner (no need to be mean, just authoritative). I recommend walking the dog frequently, especially early on (in the correct way!! You in front!!) to establish pack leadership. Once the roles are defined your dog will be much, much, much easier to train. I have a 2 year old pit/gsd mix and will say that after you spend the time early on to properly train this mix, they become extremely obedient, loyal dogs.
German shepherd would be a better pet
shepherd
?? What about it ?? Get a book out on training them
Bolt is a white Alaskan Husky. Even though he does not have blue eyes, not all huskies do. Pandadragongirl: I think he's a white terrier bolt is a white German shepherd or a white terrier German Shepherd: there are some white German shepherd's and bolt has a body similar to it. White Terrier: i also have a white terrier and my dog holds his ears the same as bolt did at the part with puppy face when he wants something, and a cat next to my dog is the same as bolt and mittens. also next to a grown adult bolt is a small dog, if he was a German shepherd, he wouldn't be able to fit in the net
You should call animal control in your town and file a complaint. I would then sue the owner of the German Shepherd IF your dog was on a leash, the German Shepherd was NOT on a leash and IF your dog was not on the German Shepherd's property.I'm sorry for your loss, that is terrible :(

German Shepherd Dogs are easier to train. Rottweilers are known to be semi-aggresive and nippy during the training process. They are also very dominant.
