If its a 4 speed automatic ( 4T40E) there is a fill plug on top of the Transmission and a plug for checking the level by the right ( pass side ) axle shaft , where it comes out of the trans. about at a 5 O Clock position if you were looking directly into hole where axle shaft goes in. Stupid engineering. the Three speed auto and manuals have dipsticks. The level is to be at the bottom of the hole.
