That depends on how much trash there is. Because the sq. mile of trash could be scattered everywhere and not in a pile, or it could be in a huge pile of trash or a mountain of trash.
I don't know much, but with all the plastic garbage thrown in our ocean, maybe cut down on your plastic consumption, recycle what you do use, and if possible maybe try volunteering for clean up. I know there are other ways, so just keep researching it.
