There is no specific amount of Ultra Balls you need to catch Zapdos. It will be a different amount of time every time you battle Zapdos. I would recommend that you have at least 50 to be safe (sometimes even that isn't enough).

Well it is a powerful legendary Pokemon so you're going to need a lot of ultra balls ,about 30 that would be assuring its capture ,make sure you weaken it a lot sometimes you get lucky and you weaken it all the way to1 life point if you do that then you need to put it to sleep then it should be real easy to catch

Hope this helped!

Whatever you do, don't use a master ball. Save that for mewtwo or a legendary dog or somethin. anyway, get it to one life point and put it to sleep. That's the easiest way to capture any Pokemon. note: you might want to save in front of it in case you kill it my accident.

whenever i catch a rare Pokemon, i usually use 10 ultraballs. but you have to really weaken it until the hp is dark red. it will also better if you can paralyz or put it to sleep.

The other guy a paragraph before me speaks truly, but in Pokemon diamond/pearl you should buy dusk ballsand wait til night to catch any Pokemon, as well as darkrai, for at new moon island, it is always night. of course, in that case you won't find lugia so 10-15 ultra balls are recommended for Pokemon HG/SS/C

What pokeball to catch azelf?

The dusk ball has a higher catch rate in darker areas, like the cave Azelf is found in. It is also slightly cheaper than the ultra ball, which yeilds similar results. Of course, if you choose to use your Masterball, it will work without fail.

Which kind of poke ball is best for catching legendary Pokemon in Pokemon soulsilver excluding master balls?

The ultamite "hyper ball" i got from Professor Rowan after catching Shaymin. You have to go to his lab and talk to him for a few times(3 times) and then he'll tell you to hatch a Pokemon egg he will give you. After hatching it, you have to go back to his lab and talk to him once more and he will say: "Hello (your name), have you hatched the egg I gave you?" Choose yes and he will say:"Have you completed the pokedex?" If you have, Your character will answer for you. If you have not, all the same. then he will say:"Alright you deserve these tokens from me."Then he will give you 10 Hyper balls and a Lucario in its poke ball. Then you try to travel all around sinnoh once more and Cynthia will see you and she will say:"this is the end of your adventure." and they will start showing you the credits. You'll be able to acess your adventure again but it won't be so much fun because you'll defeat everybody in one attack cos' you're so powerful. Anyway, before ending the adventure, you're rival will be at stark moutain waiting for you to battle him. If you defeat him you will receive 1600,45poke.12 master balls and a glaring look from his face.(this is for Pokemon diamond!!"

What ball do you use to catch Lugia?

In Soul Silver, use Net Balls. I used Ice Beam from Dewgong, and the second time I used Ice Beam, it made Lugia frozen, and I got it's HP to red. It took two Net Balls to catch him, but it really depends on your luck. Also, you shouldn't use dusk balls, it doesn't work that much as net balls does.

Can you catch a Zapdos with a pokeball?

Of course, but it would be much easier and probably less expensive to catch him with an ultra ball. I've caught him with a great ball a few times when I've run out of ultra balls.

On Pokemon pearl can you catch azelf without a master ball?

Yes. Just lower its HP as much as you can (paralyze it or put it to sleep, if possible) and attempt to catch it using Ultra Balls.

What do you use the Masterball for in Pokemon SoulSilver or HeartGold?

Typically speaking, you want to save your Master Ball for either Lugia (HeartGold), Ho-oh (SoulSilver) or Mewtwo. This is because in HG, Lugia is Level 70, in SS, Ho-oh is Level 70, and in both, Mewtwo is Level 70. Granted, you will be tempted to use it on Raikou, Entei, or Suicune, it's best not to. They are Level 40 and much easier to catch with Ultra Balls than either Ho-oh, Lugia, or Mewtwo. However, if you manage to catch Lugia, Ho-oh, or Mewtwo with an Ultra Ball, and still have your Master Ball, you're certainly encouraged to use it as you see fit. Again, this is merely a suggestion, your decision is still up to you.

How can you catch Lugia in Pokemon gold?

The key to catching lugia is preserverence. You will need these Hms: flash, whirlpool, surf. You will also need the silver wing, which you get from an old man in pewter city. Go to the store and buy as many ultra balls as possible. Then go to cianwood city and surf eastward. There is a chain of 4 islands, you want to go to the upper right one.(here is a great map http://psypokes.com/hgss/gamemaps.php?map=whirlislands)After you get to the bottom and lugia (save), then do as much damage as possible without killing it. YOU DO NOT NEED TO MAKE IT FALL ASLEEP. Just keep using ultra balls. There is a 3 in 150 chance that you will catch it with each ultraball, but that chance becomes better when lugia is damaged. I used about 20 ultraballs before i caught it, so just keep trying. Hope this helped

How do people get so much master balls?

get master balls from a different game.I used mine on lugia.

How do you capture Lugia without using the master ball?

Hey. It's a little difficult, but there is a way. First, make sure you buy 8-10 ultra balls. Next, save the game right before you battle Lugia because this might take a few tries. After that, battle Lugia and get his HP down as much as you can. (BE SURE NOT TO MAKE HIM FAINT OR YOU HAVE TO START OVER!!). Next, just start throwing ultra balls at him. (You can also freeze, paralyze or confuse him to make it easier, but you don't really have to). You should eventually successfully catch him. If not, just keep turning off and trying again. I guarantee it will eventually work. Hope I helped! Good Luck! =]

How do you catch the 3 birds in FireRed?

Best method: Weaken each as much as you can make it sleep or paralyze it then use as many ultra balls and timer balls as possible if you caught the bird before or own each use repeat balls.

What is the best pokeball to catch Cresselia?

An Ultra Ball or a Master Ball. Carry up to 50 ultra balls (and maybe more; Cresselia is a hard-to-catch Pokemon), and weaken the Pokemon as much as you can. Once it's at the weakest you can get it without it fainting, start throwing Pokeballs at it. (If you can, try to paralyze it or put it to sleep. Do not poison it though; it'll lose health and the Pokemon will faint before you can catch it. Also, legendary sometimes will "run" away in a while battle...To make sure that doesn't happen, carry a Pokemon who has a move (such as Mean Look) to prevent it from running) Don't use a Master Ball unless you have to...Master Balls are used for a right-away capture...And they're the rarest of balls. If you can, try to catch the Pokemon with balls you can buy. In rare occasions, a Heavy Ball or Dusk Ball. Cresellia isn't that heavy, but if you don't have any ultra balls (or not enough), use a Heavy Ball to capture it. And, if you try to catch the Pokemon at night, use the Dusk Ball (works best in a cave or at night). Both, un-necessary if you have Ultra Balls.

How do you catch kyogre without a masterball?

If you very carefully lower Kyogre's health to near zero, it will be much easier to catch. (I'm sure this is common sense anyway...) Ultra balls and perhaps repeat balls will make Kyogre easier for you to catch. I would suggest using the Master ball anyways, it's much easier (Unless you've already used it.) If you did use it, prepare for a lot of wasted Pokeballs...

What ball shoild you use on Rotom?

Well, I would prefer Ultra Balls because they have a good catch rate. Dusk Balls would work well if you tried to catch it at night, too. You can try any suitable Poke Ball also, such as a Timer Ball. For more information on how much the catch rate is for every ball, go tohttp://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Poke_Ball#Generation_I_Pok.C3.A9_BallsThen scroll down to see all the balls and their catch rate.-Hope this helped!
