You can but the place where you get it is clasified for 2 reasons, because I don't know where it is because I only have Silver Version (They are actually different different!) and 2 because if I did know I still wouldn't tell you SORRY!

∙ 9y agoTo catch Zapdos in Pokemon Yellow you need to first be prepared. First you need a good stock of Ultra Balls and a Pokemon that can put Zapdos to Sleep. Now find Zapdos in the Power Plant and save right in front of it in-case the catch attempt fails. During the battle with Zapdos reduce it's HP as much as you can and then bring out the Pokemon that knows the sleep status move. Try to put Zapdos to sleep and when it does start throwing Ultra Balls at it. Eventually one should catch it and if the Zapdos wakes up put it sleep again and throw more Ultra Balls.
