You could either trade from red/yellow version or I have heard rumors of videos that tell you about a glitch to catch him.
You can catch one on Route 7, Route 8, Route 36, and Route 37.
This depends on which game you have fire red you can catch it in the pokemon mansion, heart gold you can catch it in the route right above goldenrod or if you have pokemon Xd gale of darkness you can find one in the key lair of cipher
You can't catch him on that game, but you can catch him in Blue or Red version.
Unfortunately Growlithe is only in HeartGold, so to get it in SoulSilver you have to trade it from HeartGold or another game. You can however get Vuplix in SoulSilver, on routes 7, 8, 36, 37, and 48.You cant get one in Pokemon soul silver because its found in Pokemon heart gold. so you have to trade one from heart gold or migrate from GBA game card.you can only find vulpix on soul silver and growlithe in heart gold. So you can trade a heart gold for growlitheno, you can find growithe on routes 36 37 38 but they are uncommon
A lot! atlease 85 percent of the Pokemon you can catch! Edit: You can catch basically any of the original Kanto Pokémon, plus a few Johto once you get to the Sevii Islands late in the game. These include Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charizard, Dugtrio, Rhydon, Zapdos, Entei, and about 150 others! Some Pokémon are only in Firered Version, like Arbok and Growlithe, so if you prefer the FireRed-exclusive Pokémon, get FireRed. Leafgreen has version exclusive Pokemon that are pretty good, though.
no. not possible it either has to be 2 game boy games or 2 ds games no but you can catch all Pokemon in red or blue.,.for ex. magikarp is not in red but i have magikarp in my red.,.^_^HOW???.,., send me message if you want.,.,^_^ by:lykn0oders
Growlithe are specific to red version and yellow version only. As are oddish
This depends on which game you have fire red you can catch it in the pokemon mansion, heart gold you can catch it in the route right above goldenrod or if you have pokemon Xd gale of darkness you can find one in the key lair of cipher
Is not possible to get Growlithe in Pokémon Blue version. The only way to get it is to trade from Red version.
look in grass
This is completely impossible.
You can catch them in Viridian Forest as well as the Power Plant
They are both the same game, however some of the Pokemon in each game differ. Such as growlithe in red version only and vulpix in blue version only. So depending on which Pokemon which you prefer, you can decide which color is better.
Ekans cannot be caught in Pokemon Blue version. You need to trade one from Pokemon Red. Similarly, Sandshrew is exclusive to Pokemon Blue.
There's nothing left for you to do.
you cant catch venusaur in Pokemon blue you pick at the start of the game out of charmander bulbesaur and squirtle if you want venusaur you pick bulbesaur
You can't catch him on that game, but you can catch him in Blue or Red version.
blue mew is a shiny version of mew so you have to be very lucky to catch a shiny Pokemon let alone a shiny mew
