just bought a hooly tree, how much water does it need to catch
2 bucket of water
Up to 30 gal/day.
100
1 gallon per day
15 litres a day when the temperature is past 20 degrees apply to root of the tree if temperature is lower than 20 degrees 10 litres of water is enough to maintain the tree PEACE
When you first purchase the tree, cut off a couple of inches from the bottom of the trunk. Put the tree in a bucket of water. Later, perhaps the next day, put it in a stand with water. In the old days, we would add sugar to the water. Now, there are other things to add, but use caution if you have pets. Be sure to check the water level every couple of days. This will keep your tree from drying out.
90 gallons per day the first week
Just think about it. If you leave a tin of water and a tin of sugar outside on a hot day, which one will disappear faster- the water or the sugar?
no doesn't it have alot of sugar
32g a day
about 2 liters per day, however some trees may take up a lot of water per day. Suggestions is to make sure you never let the water level go below the base of the tree, as doing such may neglect it from getting enough water at a time.
