My 2000 Chevy Silverado LT Ext Cab 4 dr 5.3L 4x4 Z71 can tow 11,000 lbs and has a payload around 1,750 lbs.
my 1995 stock 5.7L pulled an 8000 pound trailer and didnt have any problems besides stopping lol!
With a V8, about 4½ tons
by the manual the 2006 chevy silverado with a v6 vortec with tow package can pull up tp 5000 pounds loaded . .with a v8 possible 9000 lbs .10,000 is pushing it .some modifications may be necessary via a larger trans cooler..
u dum dude a silverado v8 silverado has 210 horses and 5.0 has 190horses
The new one is recomended at 6,500 lbs. I know its kind of low but if you want a more powerful one get the 6.2L v8 because it has 403hp and 417 ft lbs of torque, and can pull 10,600lbs. The 5.3L v8 is still powerful but only has 315hp and 335 ft lbs of torque.
around 280
I have a 2004 v8 Silverado 1500 LS , with 5.3 ltr engine, the gvw is about 13000lbs, and truck weighs just under 5000lbs, so with that being said you should be able to tow about 8000lbs max. I usually tow a 25 foot boat which weighs about 7600lbs with trailer, fuel and equip. The truck pulls it without difficulty, but you can feel the pull going uphill.
5.3L V8 is 285 HP @ 5200 RPM
6 qts.
Its got 300hp 6.0 v8 same
5W30 weight. Gastroll GTX and Kendell is a real good brand.
how much horsepower does a 2004 Chevy silver z71 have with a 5.3 liter v8?
