A fair amount at first, but it wont be fat, it will be fluid and muscle. And then your body will go into starvation mode because it thinks it wont get anymore food, and it will store ALL the food you eat as fat, your metabolism will slow down, and you will have to eat LESS to just maintain your weight - no matter lose it. Now on the other hand, if you did lots of muscle bulding exercises and eat healthily you would build muscle, and muscle burns more calories than fat by a long way, so your metabolism increases and you will need to eat MORE just to keep your weight from dropping!!! Plus you will be burning probably 2 to 3 times as many calories as starving yourslelf, just in your normal daily routine - not even taking in to account the calories burnt while doing the exercise. Remember though, don't over do it. I'm rambling again sorry. Hope this helps (and doesnt sound to preachy).
Answer 2- I some what disagree with the answer above you will lose fat that's what the body turns to first when your in starvation mode. Your metabolism will slow but not all your food will be stored as fat otherwise no one would have success with the size 0 diet you are talking about. I know this from trying it my self and lost 5 lbs in a week with out exercise. Just keep your water intake high so it isn't just water weight you lose.
Answer 3- They say that eating that may calories is very dangerous. But i did it for a month and i was completely fine. I didn't eat over 600 calories a day. I was also in dance and karate, everyday. Eating only 600 calories didn't make me weak or tired. It made me feel a lot better and stronger. I also did the P90x which was really helpful, but i never felt weak from only eating 600 calories. i did this for a month and lost 10 pounds. The first week i did it though i lost 5 pounds so i figured i'd loose 5 pounds every week, but instead the total ended up being 10 pounds. Its really not hard to do and i felt a lot better. But i agree with answer 2, it just depends on your body.
you will probally be very very tired and lose quite a bit.
No. On a diet of only 500 calories you would lose weight.
A little. Your body needs to burn more calories than it consumes, however, to actually lose weight. So watching calories intake along with exercise is the fastest and best way to lose weight.
Eat less calories, and burn more calories than you've eaten exercising. The only way to lose weight is if you burn more calories than you consume.
yes, water is very helpful when trying to lose weight it has 0 calories and 0 fat
Calories are calories. If you consume fewer calories than you burn, you will lose weight. If you consume alcohol calories instead of food calories but still burn more than you consume, you will lose weight. Seriously SERIOUSLY would not recommend it though, the other health risks surrounding consuming only alcohol are profound and in many cases irreversible.
Much faster. Sugar and Soda may taste good but are only empty calories.
well actually your body will only burn the calories it consumes. if your eating less calories it will burn less calories, so i don't think you can figure that out from just that. if your trying to lose weight, exercise before meals, so your burning the fat you have stored and not the energy from the food you just consumed.
The only way to lose weight is to use more calories than you take in. That is, you must burn more calories (exercise, basal metabolism, etc.), than you eat.
Well, eating 1200 calories will help people lose weight if they usually eat more than 1200 calories. However, there is also the option of exercising daily or regularly.
How much weight you lose is based on not only calorie consumption but your current body weight. A larger body needs more calories to remain the same size. So, a person weighing 400 lbs. will lose more weight than will a person weighing 200 lbs., if each is living on 1000 calories per day. 500 calories sounds way too low for anyone to live on, even if "dieting." Try consulting an online calorie calculator for a reasonable idea of how much you should be eating.
You will lose weight if you spend more calories than you take in.
Saunas make a person lose water weight because water is sweated out, but fat loss does not occur from sitting in a sauna. The weight loss is only temporary and it is not very healthy to lose so much water weight at one time. The only way to lose fat (body weight) is to burn more calories than are consumed. The environment of the sauna may cause the heart to beat a little faster, which results in more calories burned, but this amount is minuscule.
Have you considered how much your metabolism is burning? Any in case, a calorie deficit of 200 a day (1000 - 800) means you'd lose weight at about 1 pound of fat every 17.5 days. 1 pound of fat = 3500 calories
No you need to intake enough calories & carbs to help your body burn off the fat cells.
Your body's organs will burn about 42 calories per hour sleeping. This is only 336 calories in an eight hour sleeping cycle. it would take 80 hours of sleep to equal the calories needed to lose one pound. Sleeping is not a good weight loss activity.
No one should be on a water diet. Eat your alotted amount of calories, drink only water.
There is no way to spot reduce. When you lose weight, the weight comes from your entire body at the same time. Taking in fewer calories than you burn in energy is the only way to do this.
There is no way to answer how long it will take to lose weight because it depends on the calories that are being eaten daily. Three things a day may have more calories than six or ten things a day. Losing weight depends on one thing: calories in = calories out.
1) You'll be healthier than those who drink sweetened drinks, which contain empty calories.2) Whether you'll actually lose weight will depend on what and how much you eat.
Eating only 500 calories twice per week would be extremely dangerous . Do NOT diet without consulting a doctor.
Are you wondering what the best diets to lose weight are? There really is no secret diet that will magically melt the pounds away. The truth is simple. If you consume less calories than you burn in a day, you will lose weight. Not only will you lose weight, you will lose the right kind of weight. Lots of diets that promise quick weight loss make you just lose water weight, which isn't healthy and doesn't last. Instead, learn how to count calories. Then, cut calories in small increments. Do the same thing when it comes to burning calories. Increase your activity level in small increments every day. Do these two things and you will see a difference.
Kinda-sorta.The only ways to really lose weight (fat weight) are to burn more calories, consume fewer calories, or do both.If the only part of your lifestyle that you change is to drink more water, it will not help you lose weight. If you drink too much water and do not replenish your bodies nutrients, you can die.But drinking water (which has NO calories) instead of sodas, juices milk etc, which have plenty of calories, can help with weight loss. And having a glass of water before each meal can help control your appetite, making it easier to eat according to plan, which will also help with weight loss.
If you only eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and nothing else, you could lose weight. It will depend upon what you eat, how many calories you would consume and the amount of calories you would burn daily.
you'd lose no weight.
