ok to answer this question precisely i shall know in which country r u living and what car r u using and what is the quality u want. but mainly to change the transmission u shall pay for parts 800$ and 200$ or 300$ for the mechanician which add up for 1100$ or more. but a u can still benifit from the old parts by selling them for a price not less than 400$ since they r automatic. hope it helped u.
