3.1L engine? About 7.5 hours labor (by the book) at around $100 per hour plus $300 in parts and $50 in fluids. Most mechanics who work on GMs have done this enough to actually do the job in about 4 hours, so if you know any mechanics who do sidework, you might be able to save some money going that route. Also, while the intake is off you should ask for the thermostat to be replaced and the oil pump drive o-ring as well as this will save you some money down the road. If there is coolant (anti-freeze) in the engine oil, ALL of the lifters should be replaced to prevent tapping noise and reduced power after the job is done.
