If the engine is pulled, not much. Simply drill a hole in the plug, and use a screwdriver (or something similar) to pry out the old plug (be very careful not to scratch the sleeve), then use a hammer or mallet and a suitable sized socket to pound the new plug into place. The real work is getting access to the frost plugs if the engine is still mounted in the vehicle.
