What is the value of a full size poster of the original Little Mermaid VHS cover?

You are no doubt referring to the 'phallic castle cover'. Honestly it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, considering you can see the original castle on the web. Therefore, that aspect of the cover isn't exactly rare and hard to find.
Now that VHS tapes aren't being made anymore, it could be considered a collectible so it might be worth something, but a recent search on ebay showed someone selling the 'banned cover' for as little as $1.99, and as high as $99 so like I said, it only has as much value as you place on it.

∙ 13y agoIt is a public monument, owned by the Danish Government, and hence, unless it were put up for sale (like a Madsen, pronounced like Madison M-l4 from the Army) does not have a price tag. a comparable case might be the Statue of Liberty which is again, a federally-owned monumental structure- albeit originally made in France- designed by Bartholdi and in part engineered by Gustave Eiffel ( better known for his Tower). N"uff said.

Honestly it's worth how ever much value you place on it.
If you go to eBay right now (September 2013), it's selling anywhere from $0.99 to $99.00.
On Amazon it's selling for $15.00.

∙ 9y agoSince VHS tape players are being overthrown by DVD players, there is less people shopping for VHS tapes. Some of the Little Mermaid VHS tapes are listed on ebay in the $4-$6 range. I think that the value of the Little Mermaid VHS is dependent on how much someone wants to fill their collection.

You can't modify the image like you would with the original. It is sometimes possible to make changes in Photoshop or overlay blocks to cover the original etc. but it is not particularly practical.
