It would be nice to know the year of your Nissan Altima. For Nissan 2000 Altima GXE the air filter is located right next to the battery. Just push off the 4 clips that hold the top of the filter housing and pull the top off just enough to remove/replace the air filter. Close it and and pull the clips back on.
Because there is a hole in the hose! Replace the hose

The mirror is held on by bolts on the inside of the door.
It is common to have a knocking or clunking noise of a 99 Nissan Altima, even after the struts have been replaced. This may be due to worn ball joints. It is best to replace the ball joints, too.
Depending on where you go you would usually be charged between $50 and $150.
depends on your expertise. me it would take a week and I'll have plenty of parts left over. a friend of mine can do it in less then a day.
batteries will cost from $65 to $175. Anyplace that sells batteries can give you a price quote. Know that you do not have to buy a Nissan battery at your Nissan dealer. Any battery of the correct size will work just fine.
There is no error code PO329 for a Nissan Altima. The closest codes for this would be P0335 which is the CKP Sensor or P0340 which is the CMP Sensor, Detectable Or Undetectable Circuit.
You can find a 97 Nissan Altima alternator schematic diagram in the vehicle's owner's manual. You can also check local auto part stores.
