You can replace the starter, on your 1994 Chrysler town and country Van, by removing the starter wiring. Remove the three retaining bolts. The starter will come off. Reverse the process to install the new starter.
should be 3 bolts attaching the starter 2 possibly retreivable from top but 3rd must get from under the vehicle. Be sure to disconect the battery first as to not cause problems. Good luck

Do you mean the starter solenoid? It's the part of the starter where the wires are bolted on. You'll have to remove and rebuild the starter.

The starter solenoid is mounted on the top of the starter. Remove the retaining bolts. The starter solenoid will come off. Reverse the process to install the new one.
