My daughter just had hers redone and the price started at 1500.00 and went to 3000.00.
If it has a cabin filter, the drivers manual would show you where, when and how to replace it.
Could you tell me how would you replace the oil pump on a Mazda Protege?
I have a 2002 tribute and it holds 16.5 gallons. I'd imagine a 2005 would be the same.
It cost me 268.00 dollars today. The work was done by a local locksmith. My key would only go halfway into the barrel or switch.
my car has been slipping in the transmission would it be the that the transmission is bad or is the filiter and the transmission fluid needing changed?
There is a known ABS issue with Mazda Tributes in that year. Do a search for Mazda Tribute recalls and it should give a description. You should be able to bring it to a dealer to have the issue addressed at no charge.
it could def. be the AICV which is a sensor on the right top side of the motor... very simple to fix, i had the same problem took me about 30 seconds to replace... good luck
Mazda 626's from 89-92 were notorious for the transmission failing - I don't know for sure, but it could be the same for you here...You could either replace the whole auto tranny - $1000+ or you could replace the gear discs/plates $250....first take it to a mechanic that is reliable - or you could go to MX6.com - great site for anything mazda!
They are the same vehicle, so it just depends on which BADGE you like.
If you mean they are on and flashing and your can't cut them off with the switch, the switch is bad.
I would suspect The hazard switch has failed and/or the flasher relay also. Replace the relay first & see if problem still exsists. If does, hold onto relay & replace hazard switch or combination of both.
Replace your transmission pump or get a new transmission.
