If done by a mechanic shop or a shop that specializes in swaps, it could run you up to $1,500. I would swap the engine my self since it is easier adn cheaper; engine lift- around 100 to 200 bucks, and some patience to connect all wire harnesses. Shops are expensive because they want u to pay for labor..
You would use R-12.
Define "high performance". All SC400s are automatic transmissions, and have a V8 engine. Some people do like the extra power as compared to the I6 engine in the SC300. However, the SC300 is available in a 5-speed manual version (although it is very rare). The 5-speed is more fun to drive, in my opinion. Both of these cars are quite heavy (SC300 has a 3600 lb. curb weight, and the SC400 is even more), so they are not exactly 12-second 1/4 mile cars. They take premium grade gasoline. Really, you would have to drive one to decide whether this car meets your definition of "high performance".
Timing belt replacement is usually part of the 100,000 mile service, and would be done every 100,000 miles thereafter. However, this car is a noninterference engine (inline 6), so even if the belt breaks, it will not destroy your engine (as it will in most other cars).
First, check the EGR valve for leaks and/or proper installation. If that's not it, check for vacuum leaks.
== == Because they weren't tightened at installation properly. Because the threads in the head are stripped.
Contracting a HVAC installation specialist is the thing to do. This form of installation is tricky at best and would prove dangerous otherwise. Talking to the installer would alleviate pressure.
Mine was $44,000. In today's dollars with inflation, it would be equal to $60,372.66 in 2011 dollars. They were expensive cars, and well worth it.
I would suspect a spark ignition timing problem. If the car starts but the engine stalls, it's probably not the charging system (battery and starter motor). One thing I have noticed about my '92 SC300 is that it is very sensitive to the flow rate on its oil filter. I've tried to use cheaper filters, like a Fram, and the flow rate is too low for the car to sustain combustion and it idles very rough. I use only Mobil 1 oil filters now and no problems.
There are many companies that would provide a wood flooring installation. Home Depot offers a special discount installation price if one purchase the wood flooring through them.
For ease of installation, less problems, more reliabilty when done the rule of thumb is find the same year, make model & engine size (by vin #, 8th digit is engine, 10th is year). and put in exactly what you take out.
An answer file holds the responses that a tech would give during an unattended installation such as administrator password or domain name.
There are lot of uninstallation softwares availablebest would be the "revo uninstaller"using this you can uninstall your any installation !!!!!!!!
