It depends on too many factors - including its age and size - to give a definitive answer. In captivity, a young specimen will happily eat every 7-10 days, but an older snake (more than five years old) may only eat once a month. In its natural environment, given that it would need to hunt and catch its own food, a Burmese python could go for many months without eating !
