Forest FiresIn the place where it is already burning, it would last until all the fuel (trees, brush, etc) is burned up. Unfortunately, forest fires spread to adjoining fuel (whatever will burn, including homes and businesses). Without being put out, they could last until all the fuel is burned up as it spreads from one place to another. That's what makes them so dangerous.
