How often do satellite pictures update?

Really depends on the source of the satellite imagery.

Google for examples purchases or leases its satellite imagery from a number of imagery providers such as GeoEye and DigitalGlobe. Google updates it imagery on Google Earth and Google Maps once or twice a month but not the entire globe at once.

Bing Maps (previously Live Search Maps, Windows Live Maps, Windows Live Local, and Microsoft Virtual Earth) is Microsoft's web mapping service. New updates are released on roughly a monthly basis.

Google Maps and Yahoo Maps both have satellite pictures of all areas of the earth. You can zoom in close enough to see cars - but not much more detail than that. In addition to that, the stills used in the photos most of the time are old. Google and yahoo only update the pictures every so often (sometimes once every 3 years) to their sites. They also only update them when they get enough requests for a particular area.

Norton does not often suggest you update your spam blocker. They only suggest you update it when you change firewall settings or update the software on your computer.

Once or Twice a year.Answer #2Google doesn't take satellite pictures. Google purchases satellite imagery from a variety of providers such as DigitalGlobe and GeoEye. Much of Google's imagery actually comes from aerial photography mostly in airplanes with special high resolution cameras. Google make bulk updates to Google Earth and Google Maps imagery usually every 60 days but not all areas are updated on each update.

No, the Nintendo DS does not use pictures. But you can transfer DSi pictures into the 3DS in a future update.

It transmittes from a satellite far away to your satellite. It is like sound waves travelling throughout the world except it is the satellite transmitting waves to your satellite. The satellite is connected to a wire that leads from a satellite. That is how you watch you favourite TV shows!

You should update your security software whenever an update is available, because new viruses are being developed on a daily basis, you need to update software often to catch it and stop it.

The satellite takes pictures of the earth, and sends the photos down by radio, as a digital data-stream. Maybe kind of like the same way you send pictures to your friend's cellphone, you suppose ?
