Factory recommendation is every 7500 miles for most driving styles.
Every 15,000 miles is what the factory recommends.
i know with diesel engines if you run out of diesel, or change any part of your fuel line you will need to bleed your injectors to get it to run. you may have to bleed them all before it will run.

if its the timing chain u mean then never.but if rattling then have it changed it cud set of misfiring codes etc.but if its the serpertine belt u mean then just check for noise wear or tear or replace .
