I would say once a month, but if it is really long, every weekend
Long-haired cats as kittens typically have fluffy fur that is soft and often longer than short-haired kittens. They may have tufts of fur on their ears and paws, and their fur may be more prone to matting if not properly groomed.
long haired cats need constent grooming and a long bristled brush to get all the matting out. short haired cats need grooming once a week or maybe twice with a rubber brush or a special brush.
they can grow long hair if you dont get them cut often enough.
it depends on the hair length- the more often the better -for long haired everyday is best, others every few days if the cat is shedding alot of hair visibly in the home or coughing up furballs he needs to be groomed :)

depends on the lenghth of the fur. short haired pits don't need much grooming but if you have a meduim or long haired pit you will have to keep the coat clean.
no, but if it has to much hair ,more than it is supposed to have , then you can shave it.
You can usually tell if a kitten will be long-haired by looking at its parents. If one or both parents have long hair, there is a good chance the kitten will also have long hair. Additionally, long-haired kittens often have fluffy fur and a thicker coat compared to short-haired kittens.
heyy, it all depends on what breed of dog you have, i have a shih tzu and he has to be cus every 12 weeks as he is a long haired dog although my friend has a pug and she rarely has him clipped (groomed). my puppy has to be brushed everytime he has a bath as he gets a lot of cots. i hope this was helpfull to you.
If you're willing to put about a half hour a day into grooming, yes. I like short-haired, too. They don't take as long to groom, and they're just as beautiful as long-haired.
It matters how long its hair is, if its hair is short groom it the first Monday of a month and the last Monday of a month, but if its hair is long you should groom its every week. I hope this answer helped, its sure helped me and my Golden Retriever! :)
it does not make a difference if they are long haired
