I am a firm believer that if done correctly, you need to spend only about fifteen minutes everyday studying The Bible. But the key word here is "studying." You can't just read it, you have to really get into it and learn from it.

If you study correctly, then you can accomplish (i.e. learn) more in three fifteen minute sessions than what you could in three hours of reading.

Reading at a steady pace of around 150 to 200 words a minute, the Bible would take around 70 hours to read entirely.

This means a week at 10 hours (600 minutes) a day

or 10 weeks at 1 hour (60 mins) a day

or 11 1/2 mins a day for a whole year.

All of the bible

or

depends on the value of your belief in god or Jesus or whatever religion you have. I rarely read the bible but I am 100% faithful to Christianity and God. Of course reading all the bible is excellent but you can decide how much you read and still be faithful, but if your religion or church calls for it: then yeah read all of it.

Another opinion

I agree with both statements above. I think you should read the Bible daily. How else will you learn the truth unless you have another person tell you what truth is. Find out for yourself.
