The reservoir for each of these is usually transparent, so you can also verify the condition of the fluid at the same time. The brake fluid should be an amber color, while Transmission Fluid should be red. If you have an older car, you would check the brake fluid at the master cylinder, each side of which should be full. Be sure to close the lid securely after checking the fluid. The Transmission Fluid (on automatic transmition) is checked via a long dipstick, it should read between "add" and "safe". If you are in need of more transmission fluid, pour it in down the dipstick tube. A long funnel works well for this. Be sure to use the appropriate fluid for your transmission, they aren't all created equally. Or about 3,000 miles(about 3 months)
me personally? Five times a year
You should check your brake fluid every three months to make sure the levels are okay. If the levels are down, replace the fluids immediately...better safe than sorry.
You should check belts, hoses, fluids, wiper blades, lighting, tires and tire pressure at least every oil change. Once every 3 months or 3000 miles. Which ever comes first.
check your fluids it is probably low on antifreeze and if it still does it change your thermostat that should fix the problem
All fluids should be checked when you purchase fuel. All fluids except for the transmission fluid should be checked with the engine off and at operating temperature. The transmission fluid should be checked the engine running and the transmission in PARK if automatic or NEUTRAL if manual.
change oil and drive easy on it and check and fill tranny, power steering and coolant if needed
Until you are low on fuel, then refuel and check all fluids under the hood and away you go again.
You should check for th obvious signs that there is a problem. You should look for any puddles of fluids or oil under the vehicle, and any warning lights on the dashboard.
You have to check your car in every 6 months (depending on how often you drive), and you need to check tire air, bhp, car torque, horsepower, One important thing you can check these in car analytics with free.
You will want to check all the fluids atleast 2ce a month i do it 1st and 15th, because you never know if anything begins to leak and is runing low always when you pull in or pull out of you parking space or garage check if any fluid on ground then dont want for 1st or 15th and check make sure all fluids are at correct level. Its never going to hurt to check it as often as you can. It will hurt car and your wallet if you dont. Hope this helps :)
I check mine every other day, and keep a good tire gauge in each car.
I suggest you to check whenever you have time like when the car in front of you is slow, when you are waiting for traffic lights, or when turning the car.
