This really depends on how often you are using it, and what you are using them for.
Typically though, you would probably sharpen it once a month with "regular" use.

All you gotta do is just get a nail file and sharpen your teeth i prefer sharpening with a diamond coated nail file, and using the teeth outside your middle teeth =)
