It would be best to change the timing belt at or before 100k miles.
About every three thousand miles.
The best place to find a Subaru Legacy for sale is at a local Subaru dealership. The dealership will often have a selection of new and used Legacy's to choose from.
it should be changed every 100,000 miles
Subaru says 105,000 miles. Far be it for me to contradict the engineers, that sounds like a lot, it's the most I have ever heard of. And it IS an interference engine. If it breaks, the valves will collide with pistons= blown engine
Should really flush your system every year to prevent any rusting or fouling, but at the very least every 2 years.
how often do i have to change the timing belt on my rover400
The recommended replacement for the Timing Belt (aka Camshaft Drive Belt) on the H-4 is 48 months or 60,000 miles. The 3.0 Liter H-6 has Timing Chains with no Periodic Inspection and/or replacement required.....
3000 miles
Most vehicles recommend changing the timing belt every 60,000 miles.
Change it every 5,000 miles and you will be fine.
It depends on the year.
