CPR is an emergency procedure.

A child or an adult may be in in need of it. It is up to you, the person on site.

Do you administer it or do you wait and read the rules, you may get sued.

You cannot get into trouble for doing nothing and allowing someone to die. You can get into trouble for doing something that may, or may not, save their lives.

That is the society and the rules we have created. Tough, we did it.

Can you get into trouble if your paying child support for a child and you live with the person your paying the child support to?

No, as long as the money paid is going to the house where the child lives then you can not get into trouble at all. However, if the child and her mother are receiving any form of state assistance you and the mother could get into trouble for committing fraud.

Child support is not discharged in bankruptcy. However, there is sometimes a temporary hold on collecting any debt. And if the obligor has filed bankruptcy, it seems likely that he doesn't have money for child support.

Does the father have the right to know where child support is going in Illinois?

No. Sad but true. The parent receiving the support does not have to provide proof of how it is being spent. Child support is in place to help house, feed, clothe and educate the child. If it pays an electric bill, then that is what it pays.

What would you change about social security?

make it an easier transition for someone who is receiving social security benefits as a male who decides to change their sex to female. There are no guidelines for such a topic at present. This should be addressed so there would be an easier process for such people who are going through this transition.

Do you have to go to court to stop child support when a child is over 18?

No because it will automatically be stopped. Upon the child reaching 18 and graduating the child support offices will send out a letter to the parent whom is receiving child support for the child letting them know that the child support payments are about to end...But it also give them 30 days to reply to the letter saying that the child is going to continue their education, then you still would have to pay to help them with tuition and other fees so actually if your child goes to college you are going to be paying it until they graduate then it ends for good unless you owe back pay!

Where can one find home schooling curriculum?

Is asking the father to come over to visit the child and get to know her before receiving her on his own is an act of keeping the child from him?

Legally that's possible, but no, you're one smart woman! It's time he woke up and matured because he's not thinking of the ramifications of what the change of environment will do to his daughter. Children see their parents as simply 'mom and dad' and anything going on with the parents is oblivious to the child. This transition should be done gently. Even then the child is going to miss you and he's going to have some problems and need your help. It's important that the two of you put your differences aside and do a few things together with your child for the sake of the child! There are many couples out there that do this.

I am on Diability and recently receiving back child support and my son is almost 30 yrs old. And i want the child support to be going to my son.How do I find an attorney to change the back child support to go in his name?

Child support and child support arrears are paid to the parent of the child. If you are still receiving arrears after all these years, you might consider visiting the county attorney where you live and filing aginst your son's father. Depending on how much is owed, there are several actions that can be taken, including suspension of driving privileges, attachment of assets, property liens, and incarceration. In the meantime, however, the funds must come to you directly and cannot be sent to your son.
