adults
6 months.
Mine started laying when they were a few months old.
Yes, they will. They might be too young and will start laying in the next month or so, however, that depends on what breed(s) they are.
It can be the wrong season for the duck to lay eggs. Fall and Spring are the best time for laying. Sometimes they will totally stop laying during winter and summer.
Depending on the breed, they start laying around when they turn a year old.
Ducks may suddenly stop laying eggs due to various reasons such as stress, improper nutrition, changes in environment, or old age. Providing a balanced diet, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free environment, and monitoring their health can help encourage egg-laying.
i have ducks around that age and they lay eggs in February
Peking DuckPeking duck is the name of a Chinese dish but the pekin duck, will be ready to have eggs at about 22 weeks and also can (in rare occasion) start at 4 weeks or when completely white
It just depends on how you treat it, if you take good care of it it could live 20 years
At 18 weeks
I got day old Runner ducks back in July and by January of this year, they had started laying about an egg a day. I have 10 ducks and generally get between 7-10 eggs per day, so sometimes some of them do not lay every day. Good luck!@
