There is only one English mastiff in particular but there are quite a few different types of mass tiffs in general such as the French mastiff, the South African mastiff, the Italiano mastiff, the Neapolitan mastiff, I remember reading somewhere there’s a Spanish mastiff, and then you have the English mass tiff of course. Dog from Turner and hooch was a French mastiff, I personally have Italian mastiff and an old friend of mine had the biggest of the big, the South African mastiff, even larger than the English mastiff . And believe me when I say the dog was huge! But those are the types that I can think about off the top of my head and they all have very different looks to them.
I have a female English mastiff that is a year old and just weighted in at the vet at 120lbs...don't know if that is normal, but thought I would try to help out.
On average, a healthy newborn Mastiff puppy may weigh anywhere between 13-22 ounces at birth. According to its size, the weight of the Mastiff male at 3 months should be between 22.9 and 30 kg. At 6 months, the Mastiff male weighs on average between 41.7 kg for the smallest individuals and 55 kg for the largest individuals.
we have a mastiff/weimaramer mix that weighs about 110 pounds.
