This question is uniquely LDS, as we're the only ones I know of who talk of "splits" with missionaries. Policy may depend on local leadership, and would be enforced by the Mission President presiding over that area, but typically priest-age young men may be allowed to go with the missionaries, generally escorted by at least one Melchizedek Priesthood holder. Some areas may restrict that to Priests who are seniors in high school. I am unfortunately unaware whether there are similar opportunities for young women with sister missionaries. Melchizedek Priesthood quorums are frequently encouraged to participate in splits, especially if the missionaries are particularly busy with appointments.
Missionary splits are a terrific way to involve local membership in the teaching of investigators, giving all participants (including young people who may be contemplating serving their own missions) an opportunity to bear their testimonies, and even participate in giving part of a lesson. It helps encourage the missionary spirit among local membership, and helps their own testimonies to grow at the same time.

Missionaries are called missionaries because they are sent on a MISSION to go out and tell the world about their god(s) Mostly christians are involved in this
it is when you go past horizontal in your splits. You can do this by putting you foot or back leg on something (like a chair).
well... most of the time the families of the church, that the missionaries go to, the families make the missionaries food, such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even snacks.

Missionaries didn’t create a country in the 1700, but they did go with explorers in the 1500’s.
Missionaries are sent all over the world for various reasons. Some missionaries are known as medical missionaries. These are doctors, pharmacists, or nurses that go overseas and use medical experience to help out in other countries. Other types of missionaries are Religious Missionaries, Sports Missionaries, and many others. These are fairly self-explanatory. Missionary's work everywhere.
