Well, cats like to laze around during the day, because they are mainly nocturnal, and come awake at night. This isn't always the case though, because some cats are very awake during the day, everyone and everything is different. Maybe it could also be because of the heat, because cats get tired when it is too hot. They lay on the ground where it is cooler because hot air rises.

∙ 13y agoIf you mean how old do cats get, while, cats range different life spans depending on breeds and types. Any out door cat usually lives from 2-6 years, while most indoor cats can live up to 29 years old, usually living from 9 years to 15 years old. Some breeds of cats are extremly suceptable to disease, therefore live under the usual lifespan of a cat.
