Well, all cats live about... say, 14-20 years. Usually indoor cats live longer, since outdoor cats are presented with many dangers; poisoning from grass chemicals or animal diseases, getting run over, falling from heights, etc. Of course, my cat goes outside and I don't stop him. I just restricted him a little when I learned of the dangers. If your cat loves the outside, don't keep him inside or he'll be extremely depressed. My cat was after I kept him inside for a day, so I immediately let him out. Also, the longer you keep your cat from going out, the longer he/she wont come home.
