From my understanding there is no age limit to being charged with a felony and you can be charged as an adult for any serious crime above the age of thirteen in most jurisdictions.

How old do you have to be to get a felony?

ANYONE can be charged with a felony. It is the law that you break that determines whether or not you are charged with a felony or not, not your age. If the punishment calls for serving MORE than one year in jail or paying MORE than $1,000. then it is usually classified as a felony
