How old do you have to be to get a GED in Mississippi?

You have to be 18 years old in order to take the GED in Mississippi, except in certain situations. If the student is 16 and is at least one full grade behind the 9th grade, and the student has tried everything possible to catch up in order to get a regular diploma.
