You can check with Savage- they were the maker, and are still in business. Westpoint was a one of the Trade Names that Savage used for their economy line of long guns. If it doesn't have a serial number it was made before 1968. It it has a Westfield Mass. address on the barrel it was made after 1959. Other than that, not a lot of info out there- Sorry.
