Article II Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution states the following:
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
From that you can see that the President must be 35 years of age and have been a natural-born citizen (meaning born in the U.S.A.). The language in the section above pertaining to 14 years a resident or a citizen at the time of adoption was a special case to handle recent citizens to the newly-formed country.
