There isn't a simple answer. Age progression depends on several factors, including breed (or mix) and size. Small dogs mature faster than large dogs and, as a rule, live longer. A chihuahua will usually be full grown by the time he is a year old where a German shepherd may need three years to full maturity.
The maturation rate is faster in the earlier years and slows down after the dog is fully grown.
Dogs are young teenagers at 2 years old (about 14 in doggie years)
whoever answered last is a .... nevermind but the point is a 2 year old chichuachua is 14 in dog years 7+7=14.0000000000 or Moosen i saw a flock of moosen many of them many much moosen!
If you would think you could figure it out... A dog turns 1 in human years, then he/she turns 7 in dog years, it is simply 7x1.9. 7x1.9=13.3

35 years old! ( 5 years x 7 = 35 because 1 year for us is 7 years for a dog)
My long haired chihuahua is 12 years old!
If you are able to accept responsibility, you could get a chihuahua. But you need to take care of it everyday. It's not a Webkinz or Neopet. You have to be on top of it's daily care.
I am a breeder and I absolutely love chihuahua's, My best guess is 4-9 years old just because they might have complications(for Male). for the female it is best to weait at least 2-8 years.
