8th graders normally begin the year at age 13 and are 14 by the end of the year (unless their birthday isn't until the summer). So, if a student had to repeat 8th grade a second time, then they would be 14 and then turn 15 during the year, again, unless their birthday wasn't till the summer.
you have to retake the 8th grade because there is obviously a reason why your parents held you back
No. You can only be held back in school once.
If you failed your classes in most states you can repeat a grade. Sending you to the next grade unprepared is a disservice to you. Knowledge is like building a fence without one section the rest falls apart. I imagine you were warned that you could be held in 8th grade.
If you wish to pass 7th grade and enter 8th grade, do well in your statewides.. Math and ELA.. I think if you get below 2s on either.. or both...you will be held back.(also bad/good grades)
yes, she was held back in the fourth grade.
Yes, Science is a main class, if you fail it, you can be retained (held-back)
The same grade as you are in. (:
Can You fail 5th grade and get held back? it is impossible to get held at 5th grade the school would probably still let you pass
In the book it says he's 13... so he is either an eighth grader, or he is a freshmen in high school, but honestly i think he is an eighth grader.Yes, it does say the above, but it also says he was held back twice and directly said he was in 6th grade.
1st unless they have been held back, in which if they have probably in kindergarten.
yes
yes he was held back infourth grade
