take of the door panel and apply power and ground to the motor only takes about 10 minutes to get the panel on and off.

Sounds like your master drivers side window switch is on its way out. If you can find a working used one you can save some money. It will interchange with Cadillac Deville, Fleetwood FWD 4 doors from 85-93. Also a lot of the 4 door Olds 98 (85-90) and Olds 88 (86-91) have the IDENTICAL switch.
