How on sims 3 do you get to be the boss of everyone?

I think the only way to do this is to reach level 10 of your carer and then maybe you'll be the boss of everyone otherwise I'm not sure.

The closest you can do to become the "boss" is to buy out the property of a building and also reach Level 10 in the related career. Although you cannot buy out government buildings, such as the police station, City Hall, or the Military Base. Sadly, it doesn't really seem like you can become your own Boss, though, and will almost always have to work for someone else, even if you are unofficially the real "boss."

Once you own a building, you can fire whatever Sims working there you want. Sadly though, since you are not the real and official "boss", you cannot hire anyone, give any employees raises or promotions, or evaluation anyone for poor performance.

There is a picture of your boss in the list of all people you know and below that picture is a person behind the desk...that shows he/she is your boss.
