Everybody has, and needs, a system of beliefs, whether they know it or not. It's a way of perceiving the the world you live in and the life you are part of. Beliefs are usually inherited from family and experience. If you have a religion it's because your family passed it on to you. If you have fears it's because experiences caused trauma. For example, if you were attacked by a dog early in your life, you may now be afraid of dogs because you believethey will attack you. So a system of beliefs is a set of values that you have for the everyday management of perception. Beware, though, beliefs are very important and worthy of revision. If you don't have a firm set of belief, you can hesitate at a moment of doubt. And, finally, beliefs are your choice. Not believing is also a belief! ---- Bismillah Belief starts with realizing (something). When you believe something... it has to be logic (to you) and you have to know it. You can not belief in something if you don't know it, because you simpel don't have the knowledge of it. We can devide "belief" in different levels. first, you have the uncontrolled belief. This is like emotions and instinct. You cannot control them and they have influence on your choises. example: Somebody says: " I don't trust that person, because I have a strange feeling when I meet him." or " I will go that way, My instinct tells me that that is the right way." When you do this, you belief in your (own) uncontrolled belief (your nature) second, we have belief that we are raised in. This is a belief that is very hard to change, because every person is "programmed" , "brainwashed" by the people that raised him or always surrounded him. third, we have belief that is learned to us (or we went to it) and we accepted it. This like religion, ideas , etc. You can devolop belief by always being in touch with different people with different ideas or beliefs. Or by gaining more knowledge.
