The short answer is you don't edit locked pages. Wikipedia locked them for a reason. Check the Wikipedia protection policy. Some pages can only be edited by an administrator.
Wikipedia is a public domain where anyone can post on their pages. Not everything on Wikipedia is true, but people do search the the pages and try to make it as real , and dependable as possible.
