The horn in a 1998 Cadillac Eldorado may go off due to a few common issues, such as a malfunctioning horn switch in the steering wheel, a short circuit in the wiring, or a stuck relay in the horn circuit. Additionally, moisture or corrosion in the connections can cause unintended activation. If the horn continues to sound without pressing the horn button, it's advisable to have the vehicle inspected to identify and resolve the underlying issue.
