Methadone, when taken orally, will start to metabolize almost immediately but because of how it metabolizes it takes longer to reach its peak effect. Depending on multiple factors like metabolism, weight&size, pregnancy, and even being of asian descent can cause methadone to metabolize faster. But the general peak of blood serum levels is between 2.5 to 4 hours. But I alwayse notice the effects by the first hour and as my body adjusts to the increase in methadone serum levels ill start to feel more "normal", usualy 1.5 to 2 hours after the start of the effects. I'm using the word normal as in when I start to feel the physical warmth and mental uplift start wearing off but still feel the effects of not going into withdrawl for about 24 hours. Being a pretty severe opiod dependent its not necessarily "normal" to feel "normal" without any withdrawl symptoms for that long. So someone who isn't an opiod/opiate addict/dependent may actually feel the effects for the 24 hours, but the first 3 to 5 hours after ingestion will probably feel the most potent as your body adjusts to the overload of reaction chemicals being released in the brain because of opiates or opiods attaching themselves to the opiate recepters in the brain.
a doctor told me, about two weeks
Yes, methadone levels can be determined by laboratories upon request.
No, the clearance time of methadone is about 24 hours.
No. Hydrocodone will test as an opiate. When drug testing they have to specifially test you for Methadone. Methadone shows up as Methadone. Like codiene, vicodin, lortab are opiates. Valuim, Xanax, Ativan are benzo's. butabutal (fiorcet) is a barbituate. Methadone is Methadone.
No, it has to be ingested.
methadone
1.5 methadone pill= to 50mg. So it may stay in your system up to 48 hours. Methadone comes in three different doses. 5 mg tabs, 10 mg tabs and 40 mg tabs. Depending on the person Methadone stays in your system for 48 to 72 hours.
Each individual has a different rate of metabolism. Some people can metabolize it quickly while others metabolize it slower.
yes the caffeine pushes methadone out of your system faster than it would normally wear off
methadone
Yes. If you have methadone in your system and you take a subutext you will go into withdrawal
Well it is very difficult to clean methadone out of your system quickly because it is a deep tissue chemical opiate. Depending on how much methadone you have taken and the duration it will take at least 1-2 weeks for lower doses and durations, but as long as 1-2 months for high doses and durations and the effects of methadone mentally and physically can lasst years. But the quickest way to rid your body of methadone(and most other chemicals) is to just drink alot of water and urinate frequently. There are many body detoxifying remedies at your local GNC but, trustme, it is not a pleasant thing to detoxify your body. Even if you use these remedies there is no guarantee that the methadone will be out of your system in under a week, but that is your best bet.
impossible, the methadone should have shown up on the test.
