1. Excavate the area where your rain catchment tank will be.

2. Build a retaining wall to prevent erosion and mudslides.

3. Put a screen over the top of your tank to filter the water and prevent larger particles from falling in.

4. Clean the filter periodically.

5. Use gravity fed drip irrigation to water plants below.
