Yes they are worth something. Depending on what year it was minted in. A normal peace dollar that has been in circulation is worth 17.00 to 175.00. One that has no sighn of Ware can be worth 60,000! But don't polish it! That will reduce its value!
There is no such thing as a Liberty dollar coin minted in 2000. There is however the Sacajawea dollar which was minted in brass, and unless in proof condition it is only worth $1.
